Who are We?

Society of Business, IIT Roorkee (SocBiz IITR) is a premier student organization dedicated to developing proficient problem solvers and future business leaders in Consulting, Product Management, and Data Analytics.

We collaborate with industry leaders, engage in impactful projects, and offer a platform for students to learn, experiment, and excel. Our initiatives include comprehensive training modules, workshops with industry experts, and participation in national and international competitions.

Our Verticals

We train students in structured problem solving, guesstimates, and case cracking, preparing them for consulting roles at top firms. Members work on live projects and gain real-world experience through case competitions and mentorship.

We guide students through the fundamentals of product thinking, user-centric design, wireframing, and roadmap building. Our workshops and case-based modules empower them to think like product managers from day one.

From Excel and SQL to Python and Machine Learning, we offer hands-on training to help students turn data into decisions. Members work on analytics projects, participate in datathons, and develop dashboards with real datasets.
